Across the river the mighty Dumoine River empties into the Ottawa River. This river also holds trophy walleye, pike and bass. Algonquin Park is down the road which can be accessed by vehicle to hundreds of lakes.
The Swisha Zec and Dumoine Zec are a 10 minute drive in which hundreds of lakes can be accessed with a car topper boat or canoe. These lakes hold all species of fish including the notorious speckled trout!
